Romantic German Masters

The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra presents an ode to the Romantic German Masters in two special concerts this month. The performance will open with a serenade of winds—Brahms' Variations on a Theme by Haydn, led by guest conductor Gemma New, and featuring cellist master Lynn Harrell. After Schumann's movingly meditative Cello Concerto No. 1, the concert will close with a cheerful adieu—Brahms' Symphony No. 2.
