School of Rock: The Musical

Jefferson Performing Arts kicks off its 47th season with a performance of School of Rock: The Musical at Jefferson Performing Arts Center. Based on the popular 2003 comedy starring Jack Black, the musical follows a singer and guitarist down on his luck who cons his way into substitute teaching at a prep school. He ends up forming a band of talented fifth-grade students in an effort to win a local Battle of the Bands competition. 7:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. 2 pm on Sundays. $30–$80.
