November Films at the Manship

Leave the X-Men to the megaplex. Each month, the Manship Theatre offers a slate of films, from modern classics to engaging new documentaries and locally-produced stories. Here's what's in store:
November 2: Paris, Texas—An aimless drifter rejoins society after four years int he desert, and finds himself reconnecting with his family and himself. 7 pm. $10.50.
November 3: Spillway—A one-hour pilot for a crime series set in South Louisiana, in which a detective goes into hiding in the spillway in South Louisiana following a series of mysterious and confusing murders, in which it is clear that he is next. Written and directed by Jason Furrate of Baton Rouge. 3 pm. $12.50.
November 20: The World According to Allee Willis—A biographical documentary about songwriter/artist Allee Willis, best known as the songwriter for the Friends theme song, the Earth Wind & Fire hit "September," and The Color Purple musical. 7:30 pm. $12.50.
November 21: Daaaaaalí!: A comedy about a young journalist attempting to interview the eccentric artist, Salvador Dalíis. 7:30 pm. $12.50.
