Southern Art/Wider World

From his Gulf Coastal perspective, artist Walter Anderson sought to answer questions on the human experience, environmental plights, transcendentalism, and much more. It is fitting that the Walter Anderson Museum of Art presents Southern Art/Wider World, a digital humanities project that aims to explore these themes, in his legacy. The initiative will consist of broadcast-quality online programming, a mobile app, and continuing education self-guided multimedia curriculum presented in partnership with the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at the University of Mississippi.
