Storytimes at Carver Branch Library

Carver Branch Library is hosting two special storytimes this fall, the first for ages 6–9 and the second for ages 5–8. Each event will end with a special, story-related craft. 

November 5: Reading of Wendi Silvano's silly Thanksgiving story Turkey Trouble. Attendees will make a special bushel basket magnet to hang on the family refrigerator. 4:30 pm. 

November 25: Reading of Leo Lionni's watery wonderful book Swimmy. Attendees will get to draw a fish and other underwater creatures with crayons. To finish the art, kids will give the image a blue watercolor wash. 11 am.
