Swing into Christmas, Covington Style

Filled with goodwill toward all mankind, fine New Orleans jazz musicians are making the quick trip across the Causeway to celebrate Christmas, Covington style. The RedwineJazz Band will have you swooning to holiday classics with Ben Redwine, clarinet; Molly Reeves, guitar; Joshua Gouzy, bass; and Benny Amón. The evening's spell is fully cast with visit from Santa, who will play no instrument unless you count that ol' belly laugh. 7 pm–9 pm at Fuhrmann Auditorium. $15 at bontempstix.com; 12 and younger free.
