Tea, Fashion, and Fancies

The Rural Life Museum and LSU Costume and Textile Museum's annual Tea, Fashion, and Fancies event is a perfectly delightful afternoon to share with your resident Anglophile, costume-enthusiast, or general tea-lover. Included in the afternoon: a special English-style tea and assortments of fine sandwiches and specialties. The dinner will feature Raffaele Raimondi, owner, designer, furrier, and buyer of Raffaele's Custom Furs, who will speak about his journey from Italy's fur powerhouse, Melloni Furs to Godchaux's fur department in New Orleans. 2 pm–4 pm. $60; $25 for 12 and  younger.
