Theresa Herrera at Baton Rouge Gallery
to
Baton Rouge Gallery 1442 City Park Ave, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70808
Los Angeles native Theresa Herrera draws transparent waves of color and material, overlapping one another, into forms informed by her Mexican ancestry, sacred geometry, cosmograms, mandalas, labyrinths, and Mayan hieroglyphs. Her multimedia works waver from geometric abstraction to surrealism, and have been exhibited in art museums across the country, now landing in Baton Rouge Gallery's July exhibition, on display from July 2–August 1.
