Join the camaraderie in historic downtown Natchez for their eighth annual Turkey Gumbo Cook-Off and Tree Lighting. All afternoon on Friday, there will be activities to entertain the kids while the adults get to simmering their Thanksgiving turkey gumbos. From 1 pm–5:30 pm, the kids will enjoy a children's Christmas area with games and prizes, and at 3 pm, enliven your taste buds with lots of steamy gumbo with a $10 tasting ticket.
