The holiday spirit shines bright through gospel and jazz singer Wyanda R. Paul, who orchestrates a free community Christmas celebration every year. Held at Henry Turner Jr.'s Listening Room Heritage Museum this year, Paul's annual party will feature a liturgical dance by Hummingbird, seasonal songs by Ms. Paul and Henry Turner, Jr., and performances by spoken word artist 'Nspire and musician Pastor Leon Hitchens (plus a few surprise guests!). The old jolly fellow will be in attendance as well, gifts in tow. 6 pm–8 pm. Free. RSVP to (225) 281-6791.
