The LSU Museum of Art is the only dedicated art museum in Baton Rouge, serving more than 20,000 annual visitors. Aside from holding a major art collection of its own, consisting of over 6,500 pieces ranging from Chinese jade to Louisiana art, the museum also regularly hosts world-class touring exhibitions of regional, American, and European painting, sculpture, decorative arts, works on paper, and photography.
