Paul Kieu
Tyler F. Thigpen is an ecologist by day and a local foods supporter by night. A native of Birmingham and graduate of the University of Georgia, Tyler lived throughout the southeastern and western United States before landing in Louisiana to pursue a career in wetland sciences and later attend graduate school at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Her local foods pursuits include eating, drinking, promoting and writing about the fine foods raised and grown throughout south Louisiana. She is the co-founder and coordinator of Pig and Plough Suppers, a local foods dinner series that promotes chef collaborations on slow foods fundraising dinners.
