Sure, the annual Creole Tomato Festival is famous for celebrating the red, ripe queen of southeast Louisiana’s summertime growing season. But this being New Orleans, spectacular live music is an equally vital ingredient.
Right alongside the booths selling fresh, ripe tomatoes, the cooking demos, the food booths and second lines and the Bloody Mary bars presented by local bars and restaurants, the live music lineup for this year's Creole Tomato Festival features a who’s-who of top local and regional talent, playing genres ranging from Jazz and brass band, to Cajun, Zydeco, R&B and soul from stages set up in the French Market, in Dutch Alley, and at New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park.
