Numerous other hotel options, including Hyatt Place, Embassy Suites, Wingate by Wyndham, and Hampton Inn & Suites ensure that the city’s popular retail and dining spots all remain within easy reach.
In addition to Jackson Street and the recently renovated Northpark indoor shopping mall, the shaded walks of Renaissance at Colony Park and Township at Colony Park entice visitors to explore each locally owned and big box shop along the way. Sample fine oils and balsamics at J. Olive Company, then wander the brick paved roads of the Renaissance to visit specialty gift stores, clothing boutiques, and sportswear outfitters. Green Oak’s Ridgeland location is a horticulturally based retail and service company with a retail storefront consisting of a gift shop, full-service florist, and full-service garden center. Ridgeland’s newest unique garden shoppe is Boxwood, where customers can shop for plants, garden accessories, and garden inspired treasures and gifts from around the world. If garden lovers just can’t get enough, visitors my catch the Ridgeland Wildflower Field in bloom in the late summer and early fall months.
