Map Your Paddle: Bayou Vermilion

In Lafayette, the Bayou Vermilion District has banded together with local agencies to launch an interactive online paddle-trail map of Bayou Vermilion. Designed to help recreational boaters have a more enjoyable experience on the river, the map allows paddlers and boaters to navigate to points of interest along the waterway as well as locate recreation areas, boat and canoe launches, businesses, and amenities, from the bayou’s northernmost access point on the Bayou Vermilion District’s North Landing to the public boat launch in the Intracoastal Canal.
