Want to help? Join Global Wildlife Center and Global Wildlife Foundation in supporting the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, the only non-government organization in the world that concentrates solely on the conservation and management of giraffe in the wild throughout Africa. During 2023, Global Wildlife Center and Global Wildlife Foundation have contributed almost $20,000 to support the 501 (c) (3) non-profit Giraffe Conservation Foundation and its initiatives, which include giraffe translocations to re-introduce wild populations into former ranges across Africa, cutting-edge research to aid in classification of giraffe species and subspecies, and technical support for giraffe conservation initiatives in 19 African countries. Giraffe Conservation Foundation is helping to raise awareness of the need for giraffe conservation by using the hashtag #StandTallForGiraffe.
