Sneaking in as nimble as elves, the Netflix crew—dressed in black hoodies emblazoned with the word "Illuminight"—has brought movie-set-level décor to Natchez's already-charming Main Street, with massive ornaments, wreaths galore, and twinkly lights upping the magic a hundredfold.

The effort is part of Netflix's endeavor to spread cheer throughout the country at the end of a rough year for everyone. Why Natchez was chosen, no one seems to exactly know—but with recent endeavors such as Nick Wallace Culinary's takeover of the Natchez Depot, Smoot's, and other sites around the city—a renaissance certainly seems on the way. And when you're driving through wonderland, the possibilities become all the more endless.
