1 habanero pepper, seeds and stem removed, finely chopped
1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. green onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup olive oil
Juice of 2 limes
½ tsp. thyme leaves, chopped
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and let stand for at least 1 hour at room temperature. Serve with Ginger Marinated Shrimp.
