On June 26, the 2016 Small Town Chefs Awards celebrated four outstanding chefs from all over Louisiana.
As we set the wheels in motion for our fourth annual Small Town Chefs Awards (August 20, 2017, at the Louisiana Culinary Institute), we're reminiscing over last year's spectacular occasion. On June 26, 2016, we gathered at the Tin Roof Brewery to honor Chef Holly Moore Schreiber of Sainte Terre (Benton, La.), Chef Carl Schaubhut of bacobar (Covington, La.), Chef Jean Pierre Guidry of bacobar (Covington, La.), and Chef Toby Rodriguez of Lache Pas Boucherie (Grand Coteau, La.)—four supreme chefs doing fabulous work in towns under 25,000.
Take a look at the tables we set, the food we enjoyed, and the incredible chefs who brought us together. And get excited for Year Four ...
