Sure, Halloween night is reserved for candy, but how about during the day? Since the holiday of heebie-jeebies falls on a Saturday this year, why not make the most of it? LASM's Irene W. Pennington Planetarium is providing a magical option with their Halloween Day in the Planetarium. Put on your costume, and come on down for a day of fan-favorite shows under the larger-than-life planetarium dome, including The Astronomical World of Harry Potter, The World Within Star Wars, and The Pink Floyd eXperience (click here for the full planetarium schedule). The fun-filled day also entails a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt and Halloween giveaways, meaning you or your kid could win a magic wand to be used during the live, presenter-led Harry Potter Show! Several virtual Halloween-themed activities will be posted on social media throughout the week, so make sure to check out the event on Facebook. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for kids and seniors, and are available here. 9:30 AM–5 PM.
