A Night in Old Havana
French Quarter Decatur Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70116
An annual progressive dining experience hosted by the French Quarter Citizens (FQC) association, A Night in Old Havana leads adventurous diners on a walking tour of the quarter in recognition of New Orleans' architectural and cultural ties with our neighbor to the south. Priscilla Lawrence of the Historic New Orleans Collection, is this year's event honoree. In honor of their vision and thoughtful portrayal of our city to the nation, Mr. Joseph Zolfo, Executive Producer of NCIS New Orleans, and his wife Carrie, are distinguished guests. Guests begin with cocktails and appetizers at various private homes, then progress to the Bourbon Orleans Hotel to disport themselves among delectable dishes from area restaurants, music by Julio and Cesar, dancing and live and silent auctions. A fundraiser, the event benefits French Quarter Citizens, Inc., whose mission is to preserve the quality of life in the Vieux Carré and to preserve its historical character and architecture. 6:30 pm–11 pm. $175. frenchquartercitizens.org or call (504) 588-2929.
