The Monroe City Council has named the entirety of June 2022 "Juneteenth Month," and to celebrate the Beidenharn Museum is hosting an exhibition featuring sixty works from Will and Cheryl Sutton’s African American Spiritual Art collection, with additional pieces from the Living Water Ministries. An opening reception will be held from 6 pm–9 pm. bmuseum.org.
