Their real name is "tillandsia," but the group of plants usually called "air plants" are so-named because they get most of their nutrients from the air. If that sounds like the kind of low-maintenance flora you'd like to see dangling from your Christmas tree, step up to the Baton Rouge Succulent Company's Air Plant Ornament Bar. There will be a new collection of terrariums, a fresh shipment of interesting air plants, and all the trimmings required to create a living, decorative ornament. No fee or sign up required—just pay for the terrarium and plants you choose, and enjoy wine and snacks.
