Alexandria Museum of Art Reopening

Now, as the AMoA moves into Phase II of its reopening plan in coordination with LSUA, it will be finalizing our preparations for a staged opening. Beginning Tuesday, June 16, the museum will open during regular hours to museum members, and then to the public on June 30. Visitors and staff are required to wear masks in public areas of the museum. The staged opening will allow members to help evaluate the processes and precautions that we have put in place to continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The AMoA hopes to return to some live programming offerings with limited numbers and pre-registration as it moves into Phase III, and will continue to offer virtual programming weekly. themuseum.org.
