Allan Jones: A Retrospective

On display through spring in the Acadiana Center for the Arts' Main Gallery, this exhibit spans more than fifty years of artist Allan Jones’ output, ranging from folded fabric paintings, to light sculptures and more. Jones has been a fixture of the Lafayette art scene, where he teaches at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, for decades. His work has been shown nationally, exhibiting at the New Museum, New York; The Ogden Museum, New Orleans; Arizona State University, Tempe; Kohn Turner Gallery, Los Angeles; Oxford Museum, Miami, Ohio; Mint Museum, Charlotte; the Fort Worth Contemporary Arts Center, and many more.
