October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, and for the occasion the Arts Council of Livingston Parish is celebrating the adorable loyalty of our furry companions through art. A percentage of any artwork sold from the exhibit will go to the Denham Springs Animal Shelter, but donations for the shelter are also welcome. A gallery reception will be held on October 23 from 10 am–2 pm, where the Denham Springs Animal Shelter will be present for pet adoptions, along with other vendors. artslivingston.org.
