Apprentice Program: Summer Day Camp

Those looking for an experience that goes beyond the typical summer camp should look no further than LSU Rural Life Museum's Apprentice Program. The week-long summer day camp takes campers back in time to the 1800s to learn traditional skills like blacksmithing, candle making, quill pen calligraphy, weaving, woodworking, and beyond. The program is open to students entering fourth through eighth grades for the 2024–2025 school year. 8 am–12:30 pm daily. lsu.edu/rurallife.
