For our April culinary adventure, we're visiting Baton Rouge's new Water Campus, Baton Rouge's new riverfront center for cutting-edge research in science, engineering and other specialties working to to understand and better manage the complex relationship between water, land, and people in Louisiana and around the world. Dine on a sustainable seafood menu designed and prepared by Mississippi native Jeffrey Hansell, the chef at Covington's Oxlot 9 and a 2017 Small Town Chefs winner, renowned for his fresh ingredients and scrumptious takes on fresh Gulf seafood. Tickets to this event are currently sold out. $150. Cocktail hour starts at 6:30, with dinner beginning at 7:30. As for attire, think dressy casual. Tickets available through bontempstix.com. No refunds will be issued after April 13, 2018.
