The Broad Theater 636 N. Broad Street, City of New Orleans, Louisiana 70119
The Architecture & Design Film Festival may seem niche, but in its third consecutive year in New Orleans, the Louisiana Architecture Foundation's annual event promises broad appeal. Film topics range from preservation issues, modern architecture, landscape design, women’s roles, environmental sustainability and more. Over twenty films will be screened, a combination of feature-length and short films. In addition to films, the festival will include post-screening Q & A’s, panel discussions, book talks and signings. The festival opens on August 23 at the Contemporary Art Center from 6 pm–8:30 pm. Over events take place in the Broad theater (636 North Broad Street). Visit louisianaarchitecture.org for a current line-up of films and other programming.
