Art lovers and gardeners are invited to observe local plein air artists working in the beautiful Baton Rouge Botanic Garden at Independence Park. Forty to fifty artists have been invited to create whatever the spring-scented air inspires in oil, acrylics, and watercolor. A reception for artists and guests and a sale of the freshly created "wet art" will be held the evening of Saturday, May 2 from 4 pm–7 pm at the Goodwood Library.  For more information, contact ipbotanicgarden@gmail.com.
