The park in question is BREC's City-Brooks Community Park, which each spring provides the setting for a daylong program of visual and performing arts activities presented by various local organizations. The popular juried photography exhibit also returns. This free, family-friendly event features art activities and displays for children and adults alike. From a sidewalk chalk drawing contest to screen printing demos and musical entertainment, there's plenty to see and do to while getting better acquainted with local art. 10 am–2 pm. batonrougegallery.org.
