The influence of Mayan ancestral roots is evident in the multi-media artwork of Minnesota artist Marisa Martinez. Then, meet Suzanne Wallace Mears of Oklahoma City, also a mixed-media artist whose wit is reflected in her contemporary works. Closer to home, in Houston, Texas, photographer Peter Molick now uses drone technology to capture “Space City” from above.
