On Art Rocks! Friday, December 21 at 8:30 pm and Saturday, December 22 at 5:30 pm, contemporary jazz great and National Endowment for the Arts “Jazz Master,” Ellis Marsalis shares his thoughts on the evolution of music and why the piano is his instrument of choice. We meet Ohio couple John and Marcia Koverman, who create intricate mosaics, and Florida artist Stephen Koury, known world-wide for his portrayals of exotic wildlife. Plus, the Billy Cannon statue next to LSU’s Tiger Stadium will remind many of the athlete’s great Halloween run. In the Louisiana Treasures segment, Cannon’s daughter, Bunnie, discusses her dad’s legacy in football and his devotion to family.
