The Arts Council of Pointe Coupee's annual Performing Arts Series for 2024 comes packed with high-energy musicians who have been favorites at the French Quarter Festival and Jazz Fest in New Orleans, as well as with some strong regional vocalists who have come highly recommended by PAS patrons. Mark your calendars for the following dates:
January 20: "The Walrus: An Evening of Beatles Classics" by the Electric Yat Quartet
February 24: Foto Sisters
April 6: Elton John Tribute Band
May 4: Cumberland County
June 8: The Rusty Yates Band
The Arts Council’s 2023 Performing Arts Series which is sponsored in part by a grant from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Foundation and South Arts. Doors open at 6 pm; performances start at 7 pm at the Poydras Center in New Roads. $30; $10 for students. artscouncilofpointecoupee.org.
