Arts Danu Presents Rubén Torres Llorca

Rubén Torres Llorca is regarded as one of the most important living artists from Cuba, heavily influencing the art world of post-revolutionary Cuba. Arts Danu will host a special exhibition of his works at Conde Contemporary from 6 pm–8 pm on May 10; followed by a discussion with the artist and Kristen Brandt of the Mississippi Arts Commission, and Lance Harris of MDAH at noon on May 11. Later on May 11 from 6 pm–8 pm, there will be a gallery dinner of a traditional Cuban meal with Llorca. Seating is limited and RSVPs are requested for all events.
