Avoyelles Arts and Music Fest

This year, the annual Avoyelles Arts and Music Fest is leveling up to the state-of-the-art venues at Paragon Casino Resort, thanks to a new partnership between the Arts Council of Avoyelles, the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, and Paragon. Louisiana's longest-running July 4th celebration kicks off with a tried and true parade, starting at 10 am and leading right into the festival frenzy, where guests can expect live music by Cupid, Lil' Nathan and the Zydeco Big Timers, Amanda Shaw, Rusty Metoyer, and the Chase Tyler Band. The classic car show is always a favorite, not to mention the barbecue cook-off, and interactive games and rides for the little ones.
