The Ogden Museum of Southern Art invites the tiniest tikes and their caregivers to spend an educational, fun-filled trip to the Museum on Thursdays for Baby Artsplay with Young Audience sof Louisiana, presented by The Helis Foundation.Thirty minute workshops encourage exploration, observation, and investigation through song, dance, and movement experiences. Upcoming workshops are as follows:
October 13: My Five Senses—sensory play, using the arts and imagination.
October 20: Baby Says—language building activities, using the arts.
October 27: My Body—learning self-awareness using dance, movement, and music.
November 3: Let's Move—movement exercises, from crawling to running.
November 10: Up, Down & All Around—spatial awareness development activities.
November 17: Get Your Motor Running—Using art to develop motor skills.
Ages three to four. 9:30 am–10 am. Free, but space is limited. Reserve your spot on ogdenmuseum.org.
