Baton Rouge: 200 Years on the River, an exhibit detailing the furthest reaches of Baton Rouge's history―and on its bicentennial year, to boot―will be on display at LSU's Rural Life Museum through September 18. Visitors will discover hundreds of Baton Rouge artifacts displayed throughout the museum that tell the story of Louisiana's state capitol as it has grown on the Mississippi River. lsu.edu/rurallife.
