Baton Rouge Concert Band Spring Concert

The Baton Rouge Concert Band will perform their spring concert on Sunday, March 18th at 3:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church, located at 529 Convention St. in downtown Baton Rouge. In recognition of the changing seasons in South Louisiana at this time of year, the title of the concert is "Something Old, Something New." We are leaving the old – winter – and welcoming the new – spring. As a special treat, to conclude a program of music relishing the advent of springt, the band will be playing a piece by Leonard Bernstein to celebrate the centenary of the great composer's birth: the "Overture to Candide.” Full program below.
