Baton Rouge Symphony Chamber Series: Trios

The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra will present a special chamber performance, featuring a trio for flute, violin, and piano. The program will include Debussy's Sonata for flute, viola, and harp; and Ibert's Cinq pieces en trio. The highlight, though, looks likely to be a performance of Schoenfield's trio for clarinet, violin, and piano, featuring dazzlingly talented clarinet virtuoso, Mark Nuccio, who has been praised by critics for his solo, orchestral, and chamber appearances. 7:30 pm at Baton Rouge's First United Methodist Church, downtown. $30. brso.org.
