Battle for the Paddle Chili Cook-Off

We're asking the important questions this fall: who makes the best chili in Madisonville? Head to the Tchefuncte Riverfront to find out. Competitors will be stirring and sprinkling away as they tinker their meat mashes to perfection, all for the honor of People's Choice and Judge's Choice awards. Proceeds for the cookoff will go towards Basket of Hope. Gates open for $10 ($15 at the gate) all-you-can-eat chili tasting from 11 am–1 pm, with awards presented at 1:30 pm. (985) 237-8753.
