The beloved early 20th century swamp rocker who penned "See You Later, Alligator" and "Walking to New Orleans," Abbeville native Bobby Charles is still a beloved name around these parts. Lafayette native and musician Roddie Romero is bringing Charles' music to life onstage at the Acadiana Center for the Arts' James Devin Moncus Theatre this December. Accompanied by his all-star band and with performances by Warren Storm, Shannon McNally, CC Adcock, Kelli Jones, Sonny Landreht, Yvette Landry, and many more, Romero will sing many of Charles' most beloved songs to an audience that loves South Louisiana singin'. 7:30 pm–9:30 pm. $38–$52. acadianacenterforthearts.org.
