Beneath the silly stunts, occasional profanity, and high-profile Dr. Dre covers that combine those first two combustible ingredients, North Carolina native Ben Folds has never been so sarcastic as to bury his incredible chops at the piano, a particularly percussive instrument under his acrobatic hands. As a strong supporter of arts education and a droll showman, the artist who once sang "Whatever and ever, amen" is an oddly perfect fit for symphonic performances.
