Let the cities of Houma and Thibodaux help you get in the Christmas spirit with an array of seasonal events, most notably:
Breakfast with Santa: December 2: Watch your little one's eyes light up when they get to meet the big guy who brings the presents and eats the cookies himself. Dad's eyes will light up at the sight of the all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage, too. Photos with Santa will be offered, of course. Presented by the Kiwanis Club of Houma, at Vandebilt Catholic High School cafeteria (209 S. Hollywood Road, Houma). 7 am - 11 am.
Cajun Christmas Festival: December 9: Max Charter School is celebrating the season with the Cajun Christmas Festival, featuring a Cajun cook-off, live music by Tet Dur, a silent auction, a dance contest, and more. Come on out from 10 am - 2 pm at the Chackbay Fairgrounds (345 La. 304, Thibodaux).
