Birdie Big Year: Elevating Women Birders

The Baton Rouge Audubon Society presents Tiffany Kersten as she shares her inspirational story in Birdie Big Year: Elevating Women Birders. Big Year recounts the story of Kersten's trek across the country in 2021, tallying birds while raising awareness of women's safety in outdoor spaces. Surpassing her goal of spotting 700 species, Tiffany sets a new record with 726 species, in her presentation explores the challenges she encountered along her way as well as the empowering aspects of the journey. 7 pm–8 pm at the Holiday Inn in Baton Rouge. braudubon.org.
