Black History Month Peace Walk, Open Mic & Chess

The Opelousas Museum and Opelousas organization Guns Down Power Up are joining for Black History Month to host a day devoted to peace, creativity, and bringing positivity into the lives of young people. Begins with a Peace Walk at the St. Landry Parish Courthouse at 11 am. Open Mic, hosted by “Big Myke” Collins, begins at 1 pm at the Opelousas Museum.
