Book Signing of "Vicksburg: Grant's Campaign That Broke the Confederacy"

In collaboration with the National WWII Museum, the Historic New Orleans Collection will host historian Donald L. Miller for a discussion on his new book Vicksburg: Grant's Campaign that Broke the Confederacy (Simon and Schuster, 2019), at the Williams Research Center.
Vicksburg delves into the battle that defined control of the MIssissippi River during the Civil war, sparked a social revolution that transformed the racial order of Louisiana and Mississippi, and handed commander Ulysses S. Grant a career-defining victory.
