Join the New South Story Lab at Mid City's Radio Bar this Thursday for its fifth annual fundraiser and book drive benefitting local prisons. Bring along your already-read, duplicate, or might-never-read books to donate to local adult jails and to the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center, where New South Story Lab offers free creative writing and literacy workshops for incarcerated youth.
