Baton Rouge Zoo’s American Association of Zookeepers chapter will host a local Bowling for Rhinos event. The event is as straightforward as is is exciting: you bowl, and it helps rhinos. All proceeds benefit rhino conservation. Entry is $20, which covers bowling fees for three hours. Bowling for Rhinos is the signature conservation effort for AAZK, and raises over $300,000 annually. This year, they're striving for a cool half million. Help them, and you'll be helping a horned friend out, too. $20. 6 pm–9 pm. More information at brzoo.org.
