BR Pride Fest
The largest family-friendly indoor LGBTQ pride celebration in the South
Raising Cane's River Center 275 River Road South, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802
Established to foster a sense of community among Baton Rouge's LGBTQ+ community and its allies, Baton Rouge Pride Fest has grown to one of Louisiana's largest Pride celebrations, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
This year's event is centered around the theme, "This is What Pride Feels Like"—honing in on how pride is more than an event, but an experience of being seen, celebrated, and connected.
The heart of the festival is "The Rainbow Exchange"—a resource fair and "Queerative Market" showcasing the Baton Rouge area's non-profits, social-services organizations, and artisans.
Plus, expect plenty of entertainment by local performers and drag queens; community services like HIV testing and PrEP education, as well as inclusive family-friendly activities like Drag Queen Story Time. It all takes place at the Raising Cane's River Center Arena. 11:30 am–5 pm, open to all ages. Free. brpride.org.
